To be awarded a franchise investment starts at $39,900 for a large size territory. Territory size is based on the population of the desired territory.  For those in remote rural areas smaller territories for a reduced price may be available.  

Included in the franchise fee is training, digital and traditional marketing, print marketing, clothing, as well as the ongoing support from home office and the team of other franchisees. This is not an exhaustive list. A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections fee also includes some software as well as specialty tools.  For a full list for each brand, please contact us today!

Some areas may have multiple Franchises depending on the population. Once a territory is awarded the Franchise owner can add additional franchisees (Sub-Franchisees) or employees to their team.

This empowers a Franchisee to scale their business, increase market share and build their own local team. It also provides the opportunity for the Franchise owner to step back from doing as much work themselves over time and enjoy a better work-life balance.

A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections,  in some provinces/states, yes.

We facilitate this process so you meet all licensing requirements. Even with a lack of mandatory licensing across North America we operate as if there is licensing.  Each of our franchisees receives extensive technical, field, business & operations training – no different then if someone wishes to become a tradesperson. They apprentice first & then become a Journeyman/woman.  All our franchisees are trained and certified at a level that exceeds the highest national level.

iHandyMan or iCare –  in some provinces/states, yes.
 
We will guide you through the process of ensuring you meet all mandatory requirements for the province/state you are planning on operating in.
 
Trade experience is NOT required to open your franchise. 
 
A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections – 
We recruit for personality and train for skill. Each of our franchisees receives extensive technical, field, business & operations training. We really are looking for those with dynamite personalities first.

This makes our Franchises pretty unique.

If you have trade experience – great. If you do not – no problem, as we include the technical trades and in-field training with every Franchise.
 
iHandyMan and iCare – 
If you have relevant industry experience great, but this is not required.  
 
Our business plan allows you to run your business from the Managers seat and have other trained professionals complete the day to day skilled tasks.  You also have the option of semi-passive ownership right out of the gate by hiring a competent Operations Manager to run the day to day.

As with any business, there are start up costs. Our Franchises are designed as a turnkey business.

During the franchisee interview process we provide full details as part of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

The timeline can vary, but it generally takes between 1 to 6 months to open a GFO Franchise after signing the agreement.

Yes, franchisees can sell their franchises, but the sale must be approved by GFO and follow specific procedures outlined in the franchise agreement.
